Composition :
Each 1 gm contain :
Colistin Sulphate ………..350 mg
(Equiv . to Colistin base 300 mg =6 MIU )
Indications :
Used in the prevention and treatment of enteritis, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, fowl typhoid, pullorum disease and diarrheal infections caused by Gram-negative germs sensitive to colistin, such as
– E. coli
– Enterobacter aerogenes
– Shigella
– Salmonella
– Pasteurella
– Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Dosage & Administration :
1gm /6 liters orally via drinking water 3-5 days .
Withdrawal time:
3 days.
